Dues Rules and Addresses

The Executive Board of the Retired Firefighters and Widows Association passed a resolution that a retiree or widow who has not paid his or her dues for the past 2 years will not receive a new Red Book when it is published. If they have not paid any dues for 5 years, their name is dropped from the Red Book listing. We assume that they have lost interest in the Bureau activities and the Retiree's Association news. Many retirees and widows fail to inform us if they move or change phone numbers or fail to notify us of errors in the listings of their names and addresses, as we have requested them to do. Therefore, they do not receive the newsletter or the new Red Book, when it is sent out.

The dues for a retired firefighter is $15.00 per year and for the Widows it is $5.00 per year. Let me know if you need further information.

RETIREE'S DUES: The dues for the year 2006 will be due on January 1, 2006. They are $15.00 a year for a member and spouse, $5.00 per year for widows. Your membership dues are what keep us afloat, more than a membership fee. They cover costs of printing and mailing our monthly newsletter. We pay for our annual picnic expenses, sympathy cards, and occasionally make donations to worthy causes as determined by the Officers. We pay for other expenses and fees that are required by law for our organization. Thank you for your support!!
