Chip Kessler Road trip to Cabo Pulmo Baja
After dropping my youngest off at the University of Redlands in SoCal I just keep going south. A friend recently purchased a Casa in Cabo Pulmo, 30 miles up the Sea of Cortez from Cabo San Lucas. Hurricane Henrietta blew thru while I was there. The Casa is for rent, the entire town is off the grid, all solar powered and drinkable tap water straight down from the hills. Chip Kessler

Glacier National Park - International Peace Park ------------- Craig & Susan Smith
Newly retired in June 2005, decided to hit the road in our little fifth wheel. Headed east staying at Chickahominy Resorvoir, Delintment Lake, Owyhee Reservoir, then up to Idaho camping along National Scenic Byway Highway 12 then up to Montana and Flathead Lake and finally Glacier National Park.

Rafting White Salmon----------------Val Shaull & friends
This is a shot of me and friends on the White Salmon River near Hood River, Or. The rapid is called Rattlesnake. It's the smaller rapid after Husum Falls. Husum Falls is a 12' falls that's run a lot during the summer. I spend a lot of time here.

Rich Stowell ----- Mt Rainer in an area called rim rock
This is the biggest animal I have ever come across while hunting. He came off Mt Rainer in an area called rim rock. That is just out of Nachez Wa. I submitted for tags three years in a row to get drawn for big branch bulls. In the years I didn't get drawn I could still hunt the area for spike only, that gave me a chance to learn the terrain and scout the area. I used my dirt bike to travel to the trail head from camp, then hiked in a couple of miles to set a stand .It was about 11 o'clock when I shot him. I had been lying under a tree for 4 hours before he showed up It took me two days to pack him out,and two days to cut and wrap the meat for freezing. This was a very tough old guy and he took some special cooking to get tender. I should have turned more into hamburger. I really enjoyed having him around for the winter.
